Better Living Millshop has received certification by the Forest Stewardship Council. The FSC is an association that monitors and provides guidelines for the management of forest resources throughout the world. Upon request, FSC certification enables us to validate environmental sustainability of specific lumber and products sold through our millshop. Verification of "green" products is important to our customers planning to participate in LEED or NAHB green building projects.

Better Living Millshop has been providing millwork services since 1893. Our company is concerned with preserving and improving our environment. Our Millshop supports using lumber and building products that have been harvested and produced in compliance to FSC principles for forest stewardship.

Better Living Millshop is also a member of the Wood Products Manufacturers Association. WPMA provides membership services that assist business operations and promote participation in green initiatives.
